Our melamine faced chipboard duct panels are manufactured from 18/19mm MFC (melamine faced chipboard), with edges lipped in either a matching high pressure laminate (HPL) or alternatively a 2mm PVC edge. Technical The system can be supplied with or without the support framing where required – with the option to select from either our Concerto (timber frame) or Meta (aluminium frame) products. Where specified, the frames are constructed on site and a HPL (12mm MDF), in a corresponding or contrasting colour to the duct panels, is applied to the face to create the flashgaps. The duct panels are then fitted securely to the framework by means of high quality Hafele push on/lift off brackets, designed to allow access where required for future maintenance and repair. Hinged and lockable panels are also available. NB – Where a prebuilt timber or aluminium frame in specified, we need to first be in receipt of accurate dimensions.
