Creating spaces for people to live and interact in outside is a key aspect of many landscaping projects. The integration of street furniture is an ideal way to do this. It can give an area focus and a purpose, along with extending into spaces that could be at risk of abandonment. The unique Bealach planters offer a softer finish for public seating. With curved corners and a natural pine finish, this design can be altered to suit any project. WoodBlocX structures can be built onto soft or hard ground. Building benches, seats, tables and chairs have been part of the WoodBlocX offering since its inception back in 2001. Initially, we developed a planter & bench combination, the idea being that those who were less able would be able to use the bench as an aide to their gardening work. From there, things have developed dramatically. We have worked on projects nationwide adding seating solutions to a number of Unite Student accommodation builds, new home development sites as well as public gardens and spaces. WoodBlocX are a unique, patented system of interlocking timber blocks that can be used to design and create almost any external landscaping structure. The individual BlocX are made from sustainably-sourced, FSC accredited Scots pine and are fitted together using recycled plastic dowels. We proudly harvest and manufacture all timber ourselves which allows us full quality control throughout the production process.
