“The sculptural ensemble dances on the delicacy of the legs.” Viewed from the front, the armchair evokes the idea of an open shell, embodied by the soft seat and back, with their enveloping and generous curves. Padded polyurethane elements conceal a steel frame upon solid wood legs. Like a piercing, the front legs extend through the seat cushion, before joining the rear legs to create a distinctive effect of structural lightness. From the back, the armchair assumes a greater volume and personality. A choice of decorative fabric designs adds character. Materials and colours: Legs in black lacquered solid maple wood. Steel frame. Upholstery with self-extinguishing polyurethane foam/heat-bound polyester fibre. Fixed internal nylon cover. Removable external cover in fabric or leather.
