OUR STORY

Family Bedding was founded in 2012 by Stefano Casoli and Cristiana Civati, partners in life before becoming partners in work. There was no inherited craft,
but a personal intuition — to create sofa beds that combine beauty, functionality, and artisanal care.
Over the years, the company has grown, becoming a point of reference in the industry. Today, Family Bedding is more than a manufacturer:
it’s a brand with a vision — to transform the sofa bed from a technical solution into a symbol of contemporary living.

For us, being sustainable means taking a concrete approach that guides every choice. We look at the entire life cycle of our products — from design to material selection, from production to logistics, and up to our company culture. Our production line is entirely based in Italy, in the heart of Brianza — a district that has preserved furniture craftsmanship for generations and projected it onto the international stage. For this reason, we prioritise local partners, creating a supply chain that interprets sustainability as the true “zero-kilometre” of furniture making. We collaborate with companies that share our values and guarantee certified
materials — such as FSC® woods, LWG leathers, and renewable energy — while investing in more efficient processes. We believe true sustainability lies in durability: a well-made sofa accompanies life, withstands time, and sometimes is passed on. It is a form of respect — for those who build it, those who live with it, and the resources that make it possible.
