The HRDE 4x4 is a high-quality stand alone and/or networked digital video recorder (DVR) with built in audio recording capabilities. The HRDE 4x4 features advanced and industry-standard MPEG-4 inter-frame compression, which translates into superior video quality. The compression algorithm minimizes data storage requirements, which enables high-quality and streaming video over low bandwidth connections. Additionally, the HRDE 4x4 offers adjustable video resolutions and compression levels %u2013 making it easy to achieve the desired image.
The HRDE 4x4 features a switcher, multiplexer, selectable multi-mode display, digital motion detection, and camera tiling options. Operating in triplex mode, the HRDE 4x4 allows simultaneous recording, playback, and network access to the recorder. Also available in the HRDE 4x4 is video recording based on detected alarm or motion events. The HRDE 4x4 hardware runs on a Real Time Operating System (RTOS), eliminating the threat of virus contamination found in Windows-based operating systems. The RTOS platform also enables users to record events and tasks.

This 4-channel Network Digital Video Recorder (NDVR) is the perfect tool to monitor the safety and security of your home. The NDVR connects to any analog surveillance camera, including HAI's Indoor Dome Camera (HAI Part Number 68A01-1) and HAI's Day/Night Color Bullet Camera (HAI Part Number 68A02-1).
The NDVR may be installed stand-alone, with video viewed via its embedded web server.
The NDVR records video based on motion or any other chosen event and the recordings may be viewed on or offsite. Included client software allows you to view live and recorded video for up to 16 cameras at the same time. You may implement multiple NDVR's in one installation.
