D 5-1 - four-legged substructure
The back and seat sections of this comfortable chair are upholstered as one unit and then mounted exactly in the outer shell. In this version, the shell is in an oak sand colour shade, the seat is made of white leather and the four-legged substructure is aluminium-coloured powder coating. The D 5 is also available with arched supports. Please find some more versions and sizes in our price list.

Alma is an innovative chair furnishing home and working environments with elegance and style. Alma features a wide technopolymere shell seat with polished finish, available in three different colours (red, black and white). It has a pressure die-cast aluminium base with brushed finish, a base with tubular sled chrome steel frame, and four fixed spokes or five spokes on castors.
Alma is also available in leather with visible grey stitching, in black, white, dark brown, silver and orange colour. It can be customized upholstering seat and back with different leather colours.

The “Glenn Gould chair” project began in December 2005 when René Bouchara, a French designer, revealed to Cazzaro the fascinating universe of Glenn Gould, one of the most important pianist of XX century.
What made the chair so special was its history. His chair gave him an unusually low posture. Whether on stage, at home or in the recording studio, Glenn Gould always used this unique chair provided by his father in 1953. Glenn Gould’s father, Bert Gould, has modified a foldable bridge chair by sawing off 10 centimetres of each leg. After Glenn Gould’s disappearance, all of his recordings were redone. Once again, the chair followed the music, and precisely 25 years later it too, has become available.

The number of plies in the Cherner Chair varies from 15 at the throat of the seat to 5 laminations at the seat's perimeter. This feature, plus the molding of compound curves, permits a structurally superior design which is sculpted in form and posture supporting.

| Avio takes its formality from the single back piece that acts both as a backrest and rear base. The backrest has been created by a harmonious steel belt structure that guarantees just the right amount of springing. The two ebony-finished beech wood front legs, and curved wood seat complete the structure. Both the backrest and seat are lightly padded with polyurethane foam, and can be upholstered either in Pelle Frau® leather from the Color System, or in Heritage Leather. |
