TechnologiesBoth natural and synthetic fibers, are used in carpet manufacture, either separately or blended. Wool, cotton, linen, polyamide and polypropylene are among the most common materials. Different techniques offer loop, pile, flocked and printed finishes.
How to chooseChoice will depend on constituent materials, design and intended use. Durability is indicated on the T scale, from one for light use to six for high-traffic areas.
