Support system for the installation of spot luminaires on cylindrical poles, anchored to the pole with die-cast jaws, available for the most common diameters of cylindrical or tapered poles. A revolutionary road lighting fixture uses the best technologies available to increase safety for pedestrians, while reducing environmental impact.
Designed by Giugiaro Architettura and manufactured by Disano illuminazione, OnOff was launched at Remade, Portugal, the exhibition of high-tech products that are built using recycled and recyclable materials.
The project is part of a number of events promoted by Cestec, a Lombardy-based company created to support manufacturers in the production of excellent products, using environmentally friendly recyclable materials.
OnOff is a lighting fixture specially developed to increase safety for pedestrians and to reduce environmental impact starting from the production stage.
The luminaire is made of aluminium, an entirely recyclable material, whose design combines a pole and a lighting fixture into one single object.
As to consumption, the opportunity to exploit solar power is the most interesting aspect. In fact, a photovoltaic panel is fitted on the lamp cover. That means that OnOff can be powered independently without connecting it to the mains. The batteries provide in any event a five-day run time in the absence of solar radiation.
The photovoltaic system turns solar power into electricity, thanks to the use of semiconductor materials such as silicon, which is reduced to sheets to create photovoltaic cells. |

THE BOWLER
The Bowler is approx. 4.5 metres high. The fitting gives all round illumination and can be equipped with various lamp/optical combinations. The triangle with ring is of stainless steel, which at night has a twinkling affect from the light above. The mast is coated and equipped with a connection unit. The Bowler masts lend themselves well to plazas and orientation lines in the landscape.

RAINBOW PILLARS
These columns are 13 metres high and combine functional area lighting with decorative LED illumination. A computer generates any colour in any tempo. A palette of summer and winter colours is available. Implemented here at the Station square in Leiden. The columns are equipped with power LED spotlights or modest white lighting. Street lamps are assembled with a tubular lower lamp post made of steel, with 6mm section and 140mm/194mm diameter (depending on version). It includes a covered slot for electrical connections, with double hinge and security lock.
The tubular lower lamp post, galvanized and paint finishing, fixes the street lamp to the floor by means of a 12mm/25mm (depending on version) steel plate with 4 triangular shaped cantilevers.
Upper lamp post made of steel tube is inserted into the lower post by means of 8 bolts and nuts. It has 3,65mm/4,5mm section and 76mm/114mm diameter (depending on version). |

The Modulo, a high mast mobile crown lighting system, offers a practical and economical lighting solution for large scale areas such as parking lots, highway interchanges, railway stations, airports, harbour installations, container terminals, sports and leisure areas, etc. Its design allows a maximum flexibility in order to satisfy the wider range of needs.
Different models are available for heights from 15 to 50 m.
The mobile crown, available in a choice of shapes and sizes, is made of extruded anodized aluminium alloy sections.
The crown is moved by means of a fixed electrical winch located with the control panel. For a multiple high mast installation, a mobile winch (on a trolley)may be used.
Access to the control panel and winch is through the inspection door located at the base of the mast.
The crown is suspended on three metal traction cables. On the girders at the top of the post, six pulleys arranged in pairs at 120° return the three cables which are linked to the main helical groove wound onto the drum.
The crown is guided by a set of three roller assemblies and centering springs, avoiding any lateral displacement of the crown during the maintenance operation. |

Schréder and Pininfarina have combined their know-how for an exceptional project. The Francesca is the result of this project, a project bringing together a world leader in lighting and a designer of international repute. The pure lines of the Francesca are as majestic as Pininfarina's most beautiful creative successes in the company's main area of activity, automobile design.
The Francesca is made up of a curved aluminium profile extending into an optical compartment. The foot of the lighting column has an embellishment made of cast aluminium. The Francesca will find numerous applications in the contemporary urban landscape: public squares, entrances of commercial centres, train station and airporthalls, etc.
The Francesca range is available in three versions: a 4.5 metre lighting column, a 6 metre lighting column and a wall bracket.

PLANT-LIKE DESIGN FOR THE URBAN ENVIRONMENT
Created by Roland Jéol and Jean-Marc Schneider, the Alizé ensemble fitted with the Sepale luminaire is ideally suited to lighting broad avenues, boulevards or squares.
Fitted with lamps of up to 400 W, the Sepale luminaire may be installed up to 12 metres above the ground. The Alizé ensemble is available in the form of lighting columns with single, double, triple brackets or with a rear bracket.
The cylindrical-conical lighting column is either made of galvanised steel or thermocoated aluminium.
The lighting column is topped by a curved cylindrical-conical extension.

INSTALLATION UP TO 12 METRES
The Sepale may be fitted with various types of light sources of up to 400 W: high-pressure sodium lamps, white sodium or metal halide lamps. Its photometric efficacy enables installations at heights between 9 and 12 metres.
The Sepale is designed for lateral mounting. This luminaire is comprised of a shell made of glassreinforced polyester. It offers an original and hereto totally unexplored alternative for lighting broad streets or urban squares. |
