This chair was designed for the Baden State Library. It is made of solid beech with an air-permeable varnish and comes with leather seat in an optional color.

FINISH
The shell is in laminated, moulded veneer. The outer veneer is
sliced cherry, walnut, maple, ash, beech or dark-stained oak.
Besides in lacquer, metallic, lazur and high-gloss lacquer. The
models 3107, 3117, 3137, 3187, 3197, 3207 and 3217 are
also available with front upholstery or fully upholstered with fabric,
leather or welted leather. The chairs are without arms, with veneer
arms, upholstered arms or welted leather arms. The base is 14
mm steel tubes with 4 legs (models 3107, 3187, 3197 and
3207) with leg ferrules of black-grey synthetic material; height
adjustable swivel base with 5 castors (models 3117, 3217) or
pedestal base for floor fixing (model 3137).
The models 3117 and 3217 are delivered with 5 standard
hard-wheel castors with alu caps.

FINISH
Backrest and seat are in weather resistant plastic material. The
aluminium base is available in 2 finishes: Satin matt for both indoor and
outdoor use since the legs and the back bracket are polished chemically
and natural anodized – and the seat frame and armrests are chromated,
powdercoated silver-grey or black-grey (only Volcano) and varnished.
The screws are coated for optimum weather resistance. The foot ring of
the counter stool and the bar stool is in stainless steel and with distance
pieces in the same material as seat and back. Seat and back are
available in 9 colours: Flint, Chocolate, Mud, Arctic, Lavender, Mustard,
Deep Red, Snow and Volcano (also available with black-grey base).
