Elkay 'Lustertone' Custom Cabinet furniture Sink manufacturers Tops and Countertops are fabricated of 18* gauge nickel bearing stainless steel (type 304) bonded to, and reinforced with, 14 gauge steel plate and 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/8" angle iron.
Intersections where sink bowls meet drainboards are rounded to sanitary radii.
Drainboard, sink bowls, raised rims and backsplash are welded, ground and polished smooth to a one-piece seamless appearance.
All corners in sink bowls (horizontal and vertical) are rounded to 1 3/4" radii.
Drainboards have large, fan-shaped areas pitched to drain. To incorporate pitch, drainboard must be minimum 15" long.
Entire underside of sink top and bowl is sound deadened assuring quieter kitchens suppliers.
