The PTE Effluent Filter reduces the concentration of suspended matter in the effluent leaving the septic tank. This suspended matter could otherwise cause premature clogging of other system components. The effluent filter is a safety feature that is suitable for all types of septic system installations.
Advantages:
Economical, fast and easy to maintain
Contributes to a longer life for the disposal field
Better environmental protection from better purification quality
Larger filtration surface than conventional effluent filters
Polylok Effluent Filter distributor
Premier Tech Environnement distributes Polylok products in Quebec and Ontario, namely, the following effluent filter models: PL-122 for the residential market and PL-525 and PL-625 for heavier flow applications. For more information on Polylok products, log on to www.Polylok.com.

Designed to reduce suspended solids (TSS) discharged in septic tank influent; the SaniTEE® wastewater deflection screen (commonly known as septic tank effluent filter) helps extend the life of drain field, reduce the clogging of the openings in an effluent disposal system and allow flexibility in the use of different types of effluent pumps. Easy to install and maintain, the SaniTEE promotes the natural settling and excludes gas-lifted particles from entering the outlet pipe.
• Single Compartment Tank with Gravity Discharge - Installed into the outlet tee of the tank, its angled slots protects the drain field by retaining the suspended solids inside the tank.
• Dual Compartment Tank with Gravity Discharge - This configuration utilizes the outlet tee of the second compartment, and provides additional solids retention due to flow attenuation and the dual-compartment design.
• Dual Compartment Tank with an effluent pump - This configuration provides primary screening in the first compartment and allows flexibility in the use of different types of effluent pumps.
• Commercial Usage - Utilized at such decentralized commercial properties as restaurants, Laundromats, gas stations, beauty shops or veterinary clinics. When used in these applications, SaniTEE provides many benefits including prolonged drain field life and ease of maintenance.
Additionally, SaniTEE’s patented keyhole weirs help to attenuate surge flows, delivering a consistent flow for further treatment or dispersal. Available in 4”, 8” and 16” model sizes with flow capacities up to 20,000 GPD, multiple SaniTEE wastewater screens can be used for flows higher than 20,000 GPD.

Specifically designed to disinfect the effluent from small aerobic treatment plants, the 3G Ultraviolet Disinfection Unit can reduce fecal coliform bacteria levels to well below the most stringent treatment standards, even when the upstream treatment plant is operating in a mild upset condition. Designed to disinfect home units, the patent pending 3G is safe and harmless. There are no adverse effects from overexposing the effluent to germicidal ultraviolet light because UV disinfection does not form byproducts. The 3G disinfection chamber couples directly to the aerobic plant 4’’ discharge pipe and is permanently installed below grade. When fully inserted, the sub-assembly is properly positioned by pins mounted near the top of the disinfection chamber. This well-defined flow path gives the proper fluid exposure time. The light source is mounted in the center of an anodized aluminum frame that divides the disinfection chamber in half. The frame seals against the inner surface of the disinfection chamber and prevents flow bypass. The disinfection sub-assembly, which extends approximately one foot above grade, is watertight. This protects the electrical connections against a fluid backup that could cause the wastewater effluent level to rise to the maximum height of the upstream treatment plant. The UV system operates on 120V AC and consumes less than 25 watts. A green LED indicator on the junction box confirms the operating status of the UV system. Maximum flow through the unit is rated at 3 gallons per minute (gpm), or 4,320 gallons per day (gpd).
