Description

These are solid ordinary reinforced slabs used on pedestrian bridges or similar instances. These are capable of long spans under pedestrian loads, and can span up to 7 metres, depending on the depth of unit required. These slabs can be cast as two beam sections, wtih a thin layer of slab spanning between them, as shown on the photos below, or as a uniform depth slab, spanning between two points. Slabs are generally cast without an insitu section to tie the units together, and are therefore held in position through use of dowel tubes. They have a mould face finish at the top of the unit, to the requirements of the client.
