The feet of the St Barthe carport are under the roof, the feet of the Provencal carport are outside the roof, therefore the useful width between the feet for parking is 30 cm greater under the Provencal carport. These carport are self-stable, very heavy, very sturdy, and can be placed on all kinds of terrain, even on uneven ground. Our carports have been tested at winds of up to 170 km/h, in the CSTB wind tunnel (for a maximum height of 2m above the ground). At winds above 80km/h we recommend fixing the carport to the ground. The structure of this carport is made of steel tube, tube 16 cm x 8 cm, baked epoxy powder paint. The roof frame of this carport is made of aluminium profile 5 cm x 8 cm. The roof components are made of galvanized steel. The cover of this carport is made of polyester woven fibreglass, UV-protected, PVC coated on both sides, non-deformable from -40° to +80°. Guaranteed for 10 years. Protects against hail, frost, sun, rain, snow (up to approx. 40 cm) The roof of this carport is adjustable in height and inclination. This carport, considered mobile, does not require a building permit.
