In 1998, Design House Stockholm and designer Kristina Stark were given the assignment to produce a product specifically for a pop-up design store in Rosendal’s garden in Stockholm, designed by architect Thomas Sandell. The result was the Lotus lantern, a perfect light source for the garden during summer and autumn evenings. Kristina Stark’s Lotus hurricane lantern is suitable for regular candles or block candles.
