Pressure treatment, obtained by mechanically projecting at high pressure and speed an abrasive mixture of sand or other hard material. The surface obtained is rough but without being sharp or particularly uneven. Used predominantly on slabs for façade cladding, this treatment may also be used for cleaning existing slabs, and for removing encrustation.
