• The new VARIO 7000 series has been designed to optimize manufacturing costs, to match the sizes of many locks in the market and to fit the most part of existing security doors without have to modifying them. This lock solve the assembly problems faced by the security door producers that use several lock models. 4 turns with active combination, with 36mm excursion of bolts. • Externally, the lock case is 2 mm thickness rust-proof galvanized steel and the cover is fixed on both sides of the box with steel spacers riveted in order to ensure the maximum resistence of the reversible latch. the lock can be installed doubleface (internal face of lock directed to the external face of door). 4 fastening bushes for 6 mm Ø screws are provided to fix the lock to the door. Available also with removable plate, spindles and counter plate. The key entry (backset) is 63 or 73 mm. The 73 mm entry is obtained by lengthened bolts and additional box extension to reinforce and protect them. • The mechanic adopts a conventional central-tooth key-driven excursion. The double pack composed by 7 self-coding asymmetrical spring-levers, make a simultaneous check of the two bits of the key and the spring latch, ensuring the maximum resistance to the tampering. Manganase drill-proof plate is available as accossory. • The 20 mm Ø is reversible.
