TensarTech Wall Systems have been developed for versatility and economy compared with traditional retaining wall options - and the TW3 is no exception, offering substantial savings in cost and construction time.
Its pre-cast concrete modular blocks securely connected to Tensar's uniaxial geogrids which reinforce the soil backfill, creating a stable, low maintenance retaining wall with a near vertical face angle and a design life of up to 120 years.
The distinctive geometry of the TW3 blocks, with a 0.2m course height - slightly larger in face area than the TW1 System and with no chamfers - is such that they can be produced using less sophisticated block making machinery. The block design means that curves and corners can be easily incorporated.
