How to choose this product
The glass countertop is a 100% non-porous surface which is sturdier than commonly thought (the corners are the most delicate parts). It is innovative, sober and elegant, with smooth, textured translucent or matte finish. Fasteners are generally of metal. While it brightens the kitchen, it shows all manner of smudges and dirt, making upkeep difficult.
Glass countertops are not found in commercial kitchens or those subject to intensive use because they lack the necessary extra sturdiness. In contrast, they are common in home kitchens.
