Finoptim’s Story

Legend says, the spark took place by the fireplace : the desire to rethink the wood heater, to conserve all its nobility by forging a new refined and performed case. To reinvente this fire ancestral’s art, we combine the traditional knowledge with the state-of-the-art technic. This is exactly how is born the open-insert, our original creation, the one who gave birth to Finoptim.

What is more charming than a chimney fire ? The beauty of the colors and the sound of the crackling of the flames. We wanted to preserve those qualities by forging a new « must have » : more efficient and less polluting system. And that is how the open-insert was created, and Finoptim was born in the french's silicon valley. Since then many more innovations followed, and they are all on fire…

Inspired by beauty of the mountains, it was only natural that they should be born in an environment where there is both a profoundly wild nature and a pool of technological innovation.

The Alps, our environment

Our company is based in the Grenoble region. Surrounded by mountains and the technology hub of the Isère capital, we're in our element here: between the power of nature and the cutting edge of innovation.

It's here, in the heart of the Alps, that we design and manufacture our charismatic creations, committed to both performance and design. Everything is produced on site by our many talents: engineers, designers, metalworkers, sales people... A team with a real passion for the region's know-how.

So it's only logical that the majority of our suppliers are also local. Why deprive ourselves of this nursery of skills and knowledge so close to home? We get a lot out of it: responsive partners, quality raw materials and optimized logistics in terms of both time and energy.
