Description

Presentation
A3M specializes in personal identification using RFID technology and offers a range of MIFARE® badge readers/encoders adapted to most RFID reading and encoding needs within access control and time & attendance systems. The range spans from MIFARE USB keyboard-emulation readers to TCP/IP access control readers and OEM reader modules with compact dimensions and advanced features.

Products presented
  • LGM3600 — MIFARE reading module with integrated antenna: electronic OEM reader module without housing for integration, compact dimensions, read/write MIFARE® functionality.
  • Remote-antenna MIFARE reading module: mini OEM module for integration when the antenna must be separated to optimize reading range.
  • LM10U — MIFARE USB badge reader (keyboard emulation): easy-to-use USB reader that sends the badge serial number (UID) as keyboard input; reads 4-byte UID for MIFARE 1K and 4K badges.
  • LGM2200+ — Smart & MIFARE USB reader: USB NFC/RFID reader for read/write of RFID cards and contact smart cards; broad chip compatibility.
  • LGM4200 — MIFARE USB reader with display: USB encoder/reader with 4-line LCD; advanced management (security, SAM ports).
  • LGM5770 — 13.56 MHz badge reader: intelligent access control reader designed for reliability, processing speed and security; available variants with high durability (IP68, IK10) for construction/site use.
  • Wall-mount MIFARE readers — LGM5xxx / LGM5600: 13.56 MHz wall readers compatible with MIFARE and DESFire; interfaces: TCP/IP, Wiegand, C&D, RS232, RS485; NFC/MIFARE Ultralight® compatible.
  • MIFARE reader with keypad and LCD — LGM5600-X-2B: complete access control reader with numeric keypad and display; supports MIFARE®, MIFARE Plus®, MIFARE DESFire®.
  • Standalone RFID access — id3m: autonomous badge-based access system, cost-effective solution for turnstiles and standalone sites.
  • Mobile access control: CardPass3 kit: mobile autonomous kit for roving access control and attendance; integrates id3m readers and autonomous electronics; Ethernet or 4G connectivity options.

Additional information
Depending on use, there are read-only readers (for unique identifier reading) and read/write readers for card initialization and encoding. The active range operates at very short distance (proximity) for enhanced security. Some readers forward reads to a central system, while others include local intelligence and relay outputs (dry contact) to drive door locks or turnstiles directly.
