ProductPVC magnetic stripe card in ISO 7811 format with 3 tracks. Available in high coercivity (HiCo) and low coercivity (LoCo). Designed for data encoding and access control applications (e.g., hotel keycards, loyalty cards, parking access). Manufactured to ISO standards to ensure compatibility with standard magnetic readers.
Magnetic stripe standards- ISO 1 (top track): 79 alphanumeric characters — encoding density 210 bpi
- ISO 2 (middle track): 40 numeric characters — encoding density 210 bpi
- ISO 3 (bottom track): 107 numeric characters — encoding density 210 bpi
Information on the magnetic stripeThe magnetic stripe contains magnetic pigments whose polarization encodes binary information. It supports writing and reading of user data such as names, numbers, codes and expiration dates via magnetic encoding.
Quality and constructionOffered in HiCo and LoCo options. Stripes can be integrated under lamination (FLUSH) to protect against abrasion and delamination and to extend service life. A protective overlay can be added over the stripe for improved wear resistance.
Colored magnetic stripeOptional colored magnetic stripe available for HiCo and LoCo. Stripe color customization does not affect data readability. Color options may be subject to minimum order quantities.
Dual-technology (option)Cards can be supplied with both a magnetic stripe and an embedded RFID chip (hybrid card). The magnetic stripe remains usable for magnetic readers (e.g., point-of-sale), while the RFID element (e.g., 13.56 MHz) is used for access control where compatible readers are deployed.
