Made with Wood dating back to the 1700s
Wood is a living material that adapts over time to conditions and situations; it is a precious material and if ancient, it carries with it memories of the time passed.
Ancient wood with its grain, colors, and unique characteristics is able to evoke memories and arouse emotions as only authentic and quality things can do. For these reasons, we thought of giving it a second chance by constructing some examples of Adirondack garden chairs from the spruce wood beams from the renovation of an old Venetian palace owned by an ancient patrician family.
For this reason, we have named these chairs:
Adirondack del Doge
Enhancing the signs of time and where possible, the craftsmanship of the era.
Unique pieces that carry with them a wealth of history.
Presumably, the spruce wood with which they are made dates back to the 17th century and was part of the palace's floor and came from the Cansiglio Forest from which the Republic of Venice sourced its timber.
