Description

Matobel is float glass that has received an anti-glare treatment on one or both sides. The matt side should always be fitted facing the outside of the frame. Matobel offers not only perfect optical properties by reducing the level of light reflection but also excellent colour reproduction thanks to its neutral appearance. This combination of properties ensures that the photograph or painting displayed behind the glass is perfectly visible. Photographs and paintings displayed behind the glass are easily visible, unmarred by light reflection. The true colours of paintings and photographs are clearly visible behind the glass. Matobel is available in 1.9 and 4 mm. Glass is a key part of any frame, as it protects the work of art on display. By applying special surface treatments, the distracting reflections and glare often produced by glass can be greatly reduced in order to perfectly showcase the painting or picture.
