Brilliant is low-iron float glass chemically etched on one side to achieve the required level of hortiscatter. The glass is sandwiched between two durable anti-reflective (AR) coatings capable of reflecting the near-infrared (NIR) part of solar radiation responsible for solar heat gain. The AR coating also maximises hemispherical transmission and protects the glass from corrosion. Our AR coating delivers excellent hemispherical light transmission (average light transmission all year round). The higher the hemispherical light transmission, the higher the crop yield. Our AR coating reflects near-infrared solar energy responsible for generating heat, reducing the amount of solar heat entering the greenhouse. Less energy is needed to cool the greenhouse during warm periods. Brilliant is high-emissivity glass, which means any heat generated inside the greenhouse or converted by solar radiation will not be trapped in the greenhouse. Hortiscatter delivers even light distribution, reducing shade and ensuring that crops grow uniformly. This not only prevents leaves from burning, but also makes them grow more horizontally, resulting in greater light capture and a higher yield.
