The Prima system is characterised by a minimal, rectangular profile. It is ideal for creating large size movable walls and panels, while maintaining clean lines with single glazing. This complete system satisfies multiple design needs, from a classical hinged or pocket door, through to large sliding panels. The 45° cut aluminium jamb is a minimal solution that interprets the classic frame of the door compartment with technical precision and attention to details. It is installed on a traditional false frame and it is adaptable to all kind of wall thicknesses from 60 mm to 300 mm thanks to its integrated telescopic system and adjustments. The “pocket” door is ideal for anyone with limited space, because it disappears into the thickness of the wall. This solution frees up space that is normally taken up by the opening radius of a traditional hinged door. It can be made with off-the-shelf metallic counterframes or by using the Albed pocket rail.
