The Prima system is characterised by a minimal, rectangular profile. It is ideal for creating large size movable walls and panels, while maintaining clean lines with single glazing. This complete system satisfies multiple design needs, from a classical hinged or pocket door, through to large sliding panels. Albed's customizable aluminium jamb integrates the 45° jamb with a finishing cover coplanar with the frame, which gives you the opportunity to customize the jamb finish. As a result, you can play with materials and finishes including wood, glass and metals responding to the most demanding aesthetic requests. The “pocket” door is ideal for anyone with limited space, because it disappears into the thickness of the wall. This solution frees up space that is normally taken up by the opening radius of a traditional hinged door. It can be made with off-the-shelf metallic counterframes or by using the Albed pocket rail.
