Description

A 38.5cc petrol chainsaw with a 35cm guide-bar and a 1.6kW power output. Equipped with Oregon-brand cutting-gear. POWERFUL 38.5CC/1.6KW AIR-COOLED TWO-STROKE ENGINE 35CM GUIDE-BAR – PERFECT FOR MEDIUM-LARGE CUTS LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGN – JUST 5.6KG CAPACIOUS OIL/FUEL TANKS KEEP DOWNTIME TO A MINIMUM (0.26L/0.51L) Enjoy the perfect compromise between powerful performance and lightweight handling with the Alpina ACS 538 petrol chainsaw! Providing that superior performance is a 38.5cc air-cooled two-stroke engine that delivers a substantial 1.6kW (2.1hp) to the top-quality Oregon-brand bar and chain; and which benefits from an automatic choke that ensures dependable first- or second-pull starting. The engine might be powerful, but, thanks to cutting-edge combustion technology, it runs around 20% more efficiently and 60% cleaner than lower-spec motors of similar size. The ACS 538 is packed with convenience-features, including simple side chain-tensioning, easy-fill fuel- and oil-tanks and tool-free air-filter access. As comfortable as it is easy to use, the ACS 538 combines ergonomically shaped grips with a lightweight build (just 5.6kg) and an effective spring-type anti-vibration system. An engine on/off switch enables immediate restart following shutdown; while a dual-action chain-brake – triggered either manually or by kick-back – means you can have total confidence when it comes to operator safety. This model comes with a mid-sized 35cm guide-bar and features an automatic oil-pump that can be adjusted to suit the timber density.
