What is HELIPIEUX?

Higher load capacity
  • The range is available in 5 models with 5 ELU capacities: 500, 750, 1000, 1500 and 2000 kg.
  • Manufactured in S355 structural steel.
  • Pile tube: 33.7 mm diameter, 3.25 mm thickness providing mechanical strength above requirements.
  • Tube tensile/compression resistance: 88 kN.
  • Tube shear resistance: 25 kN.
  • Plate diameters: from 100 to 200 mm depending on required load uptake and soil bearing capacity.
  • Technical approvals currently being validated by an external control body.


More versatile helicoidal plates
  • Plates from 100 to 200 mm increase load capacity in less bearing soils and reduce the number of anchors required.
  • The helicoidal plate shape preserves soil cohesion and provides improved immediate holding.
  • Rounded plate cutting edge and a large pitch facilitate penetration in coarse-grained soils.
  • Two plates ensure vertical bearing while the upper plate improves horizontal resistance; a penetration plate eases installation for the ELU1000, ELU1500 and ELU2000 models.


Always the right length
  • Four standard lengths: 750 to 1500 mm to adapt to soil geology and optimize load uptake.
  • Extensions from 250 to 1000 mm enable reaching deeper bearing horizons.
  • Adjustable head allows adapting installation in case of refusal by cutting the tube and quickly fixing the base plate support.


Base plates to fix everything
  • Wide range of base plates suitable for all uses.
  • Fixing system with M16 screws adjustable in height.
  • Concave/convex washer system to adjust orientation and level.
  • Engineering office producing custom base plates in small series on request.


Fast and easy installation
  • Installation tool consists of a 46 mm HEX socket held on the HELIPIEUX with a shaft and two cotter pins.
  • Usable with a driver requiring approximately 2,000 Nm torque.
