Description

Overview
Suitable for clay, sandy, silted and peaty soils from low to high compaction, helical piles are available in multiple shaft and helical-blade sizes. Anchorage systems are adapted to project requirements. For guying or mooring uses, anchors are fitted with an eyelet. For supporting pontoons, decks, terraces, buildings or structures, custom adjustable-height base plates are available. Helical piles are designed to withstand significant horizontal loads with the addition of a patented stabilization plate that allows reduced tube diameters and lengths, decreasing bulk and weight. They can be adapted to your logistics, handling and installation constraints by means of end-to-end couplings, ideal for confined areas.

Advantages of helical piles
These foundations offer several advantages over concrete deadweight foundations. Installation of a spiral anchor does not require heavy lifting equipment and is rapid, taking only a few minutes to install. Structures can be used immediately after installation. The reduced footprint provides significant possibilities for confined sites. Their lower carbon footprint and limited surface impact make them an environmentally relevant solution; they are reversible compared with deadweight anchors. These aspects also improve maritime safety and the protection of sensitive areas. The steels used comply with European standards and our welders are qualified NF EN ISO 9606-1. Anchors can be protected against corrosion by galvanization or by a cathodic protection system. Our engineering service can determine the type of helical pile suited to your project.
