Cherry wood is of European origin and is widely spread across Italy.
Its use goes far beyond the fruit: the wood has excellent mechanical properties that make it suitable for the production of manufactured goods. Added to this, it is extremely attractive in appearance: has a beautiful light brown colour with hints of yellow, combined with veins that can be very abundant. The cherry tree is also often used as a substitute for other precious woods such as cashew.
For this elegant private house in Albaré, in the province of Trento, we have chosen a cherry flooring. Its light brown color, tending to yellowish, and its thin veins, seemed perfect to enhance the simple refinement of the environments, as well as to create a pleasant environment to live in.
This is basically the mission of Antico Trentino: to bring the beauty and elegance of antique wood in environments built to be lived on a daily basis, not simply admired with detachment.
