2-way, mono amp 1 x 20 cm ferrite (2") 1 x HF Driver (1") iX8W White version The iX8 is a compact speaker intended for interior fixed installation. It has a built-in passive coaxial 20 cm loudspeaker and compression HF driver. Thanks to its sound performance, compact format and multiple user-friendly functions, this model offers an exceptionally wide scope in terms of use. As with the other iX series speakers, the integral baffle is designed to eliminate diffraction and provide a consistent, linear acoustic field. Acoustic feedback is therefore significantly increased even at close range. With its trapezoid shape the iX8 is discreet and stylish making it suited to all interior architectural styles. It can be positioned at various angles, mounted on a microphone stand, or wall- or ceiling-mounted using the optional accessories. Model iX8W is the white version and iX8COL refers to a version available in specific RAL colours. The iX8 offers a high {SPL/size} ratio together with high precision sound reproduction quality over its full band range. The main 20 cm loudspeaker provides extended response and good quality sound at low frequencies. In stand-alone mode, possibly without a processor, the iX8 is suitable for medium level voice and music reproduction and for all add-on sound (acoustic dispersion / acoustic opening / acoustic field). Combined with a subwoofer, the iX8 can be used to create effective systems for live or recorded music in bars with music, cabaret settings, clubs or small theatres, conference rooms and multimedia rooms. The iX8 has also been optimised to comply with the acoustic linearity criteria required for spatial immersive sound systems.
