2-way, mono amp 1 x 30 cm ferrite (2.5") 1 x HF Driver (1.7)" iX12W White version The iX12 model is a compact stand-alone speaker optimised for high precision sound in an interior fixed installation. It has a built-in passive coaxial 30 cm loudspeaker and compression HF driver. Thanks to its sound performance, format and multiple user-friendly options and functions, this model offers an exceptionally wide scope in terms of use. As with the other iX series speakers, the integral baffle is designed to eliminate diffraction and provide a consistent, linear acoustic field. Acoustic feedback is therefore significantly increased even at close range. With its trapezoid shape the iX12 is sleek and stylish making it suited to all interior architectural styles. It can be positioned at various angles, mounted on a microphone stand, or wall- or ceiling-mounted using the optional accessories. Model iX12W is the white version and iX12COL refers to a version available in specific RAL colours. The iX12 offers a high {SPL/size} ratio and absolute reliability. The 30 cm / HF1 arrangement gives it extended sonic versatility. In stand-alone mode the iX12 will offer precision and clarity in the voice band appropriate for theatres, places of worship and sports sites. Combined with subwoofers, it can be used to create powerful FOH systems suitable for sound in medium sized concert halls, bars with music, clubs or cabaret settings. The iX12 has also been optimised to comply with the acoustic linearity criteria required for spatial immersive sound systems. For bass reinforcement, APG recommends subwoofers: SB115-M2, SB118, TB118S and TB215S.
