The Roussillon automatic cover is the submerged model which incorporates the motor in a separate sunken compartment, and both the roller axle as well as the cover are housed at one end inside the pool itself. The submerged zone containing the roller axle should be separated by a small concrete partition at the time of construction or with a PVC partition later on. The basic elements for assembling the cover are the slats, the step slats, (from page 439), the mechanical kit, the embedding kit, the aluminium tie beam and the pit cover. MECHANICAL KIT Includes the following elements: - Ø 146 mm extruded aluminium axle, 5 mm thick and Ø 30 mm joint shaft. - Motor stand. - Watertightness joints on bushing side. - Watertightness joints on bearing stand side. - 24 V reducer motor with stainless steel stand. - 220/24V standard switchboard. - On-off key switch. Should be installed in full view of the pool. It works by continuous turning of the key.
