IMAGE'IN garden bench boxes with wooden lids are made to measure in France. The wooden top is removable and can be removed to provide access to storage space. It is independent of the box (no hinges). This wooden lid does not offer a ‘watertight’ closure. This solution is ideal for storing items that are not sensitive to humidity. Otherwise, you will need to pre-pack your sensitive products in watertight containers or opt for a box with an aluminium lid. We have chosen to use exotic woods for their stability and durability. Exotic wood is very dense and fairly heavy. That's why this bench and box should be used for occasional storage. Here, the removable wooden seat is recessed into the box. Notches make it easy to grip the top. The storage box is made from fibre cement, a durable material that is ideal for outdoor use. This material is waterproof and rot-proof. It is also insensitive to saline or chlorinated environments: a major advantage by the sea or by the pool.
