A modern interpretation of the 1980s
When Lars Bessfelt was looking for components to use in his lighting design in the 1980s, he found a new flat light source that could replace the light bulb. This gave him opportunities for completely new expressions and he immediately began sketching a lampshade with unique proportions. It was the seed that became a whole forest.
In Anderslöv, where he lived, there was also the ceramist Christian von Sydow. Bessfelt and von Sydow reasoned whether the two could possibly find forms of cooperation. Both found the idea interesting and decided to start with a lamp. Bessfelt's new lamp shade together with von Sydow's latest creations in the form of triangular vases resulted in the first lamp of flat shade character; the table and floor lamp Triggy. We have carefully recreated Triggy in new materials and with a modern light source, without losing Lars' vision.
Material & design
Triggy has a flat screen in linen fabric and a wooden base in the shape of a triangular prism, which is now being relaunched in two versions. Base in smoked oak together with details in brushed brass, and base in whitewashed ash together with details in brushed aluminium.
Light regulation
Light regulation is done by pulling the pull cord switch for on/off. If you wish to dim the luminaire, the option is available through the Casambi app, available for IOS & Android.
