Sliding Sash With Spring Balances Tilting Top & Bottom
This is a cross between a spring balanced sash window and a casement window, as it features both types of opening. Sliding sash windows are a common component of traditional and historic buildings, however while they contribute to preserving the style of these buildings, traditional sash windows are not always so easy to escape through. The solution is a timber sash fire escape window; it has all the common sash functionalities and traditional looks, plus it meets with certain fire regulations and can open up fully to reveal the entire window opening, for emergency escape in case there is a fire.
Additional Features of This Window System
Both Top and Bottom sashes/openers have a Tilt-In Feature for easier cleaning
U-value = 1.3 W/m2K (Measured on Redwood items)
