Timb-A-Tilt Spring Balances – Unevenly Split
Another Fire Escape option: This system is uncommon because you require the bottom sash to be larger than the top (unevenly split) to allow a large fire escape area through the bottom sash as it lifts upwards and tilts inwards for emergency fire escape purposes only. Note: For day to day use the bottom sash only opens approx 80mm and the top slides up and down as normal.
Additional Features of This Window System
