Description

Timb-A-Tilt Spring Balances – Unevenly Split Another Fire Escape option: This system is uncommon because you require the bottom sash to be larger than the top (unevenly split) to allow a large fire escape area through the bottom sash as it lifts upwards and tilts inwards for emergency fire escape purposes only. Note: For day to day use the bottom sash only opens approx 80mm and the top slides up and down as normal. Additional Features of This Window System Suitable for the occasion when nothing else complies with Fire Regulations U-value = 1.3 W/m2K (Measured on Redwood items) Sliding Sash Windows We only use the best quality metal accessories for looks and durability, we don’t use plastic parts, where avoidable, as many suppliers do.
