Description Metric was conceived to express a lightweight seating language using the slimmest possible sections of solid oak. The geometry relies on essential cross bracing to deliver required structural strength. The outer frame follows horizontal and vertical lines; the only curved element is the backrest, tilted for ergonomic support. The seat slopes slightly backwards and is framed between two parallel beams that form the main structure. Models are offered entirely in wood or with a wooden frame and a slightly padded seat upholstered in thick leather.
