The Gaulino Easy Chair is a natural evolution of the iconic Gaulino Chair.
Inspired by Antonio Gaudi and Carlo Mollino, Tusquets created 'Gaulino' in 1987. It was an industrially hand-crafted chair with a contoured wooden frame, slender tapering legs and smooth rich leather. The artisanal chair became a modern icon of 20th-century design.
The Gaulino easy is a little lower and wider, retaining the function of armchair and the lightness of a Gaulino. The lowered backrest and low, dropped seat provide an elegant yet relaxed position. It maintains the aesthetic held in the Gaulino chair by , revealing its unique natural grain.
Materials and finishes
Frame in natural ash with a natural varnish, lacquered open-pore black, or coral red (RAL 3016) finish. Seat upholstered in natural hide, toasted hide or black hide.
