The oak surface is treated with natural oil to protect and enhance the material while preserving its original textured appearance. The finish accentuates grain patterns and creates contrast between the outer horizontal grain and the vertical grain revealed by pantographed decorative incisions. The open pore surface shows the living character of the wood, which will naturally evolve over time. The door leaf is veneered with multiple layers of sliced wood veneers assembled with both vertical and horizontal grain directions.
