Description

The MacDrain® range includes different drainage materials that are comprised of a three-dimensional drainage polymer core and one or two non woven geotextiles that act as filters. The drainage core may consist of high density polyethylene geogrid (MacDrain® type N) or geoblanket in polyethylene filaments (MacDrain® type L or S) or W (MacDrain® type W). Products with a geogrid core are used in projects where the drainage geocompound must be subject to strong loads. Geoblankets are applied when the loads are not high, but high hydraulic flows are required. The BiaDrain C product range is also available, that has a high density polyethelene (HDPE) nodular structure connected by thermo-welding to a non woven geotextile of thermocalenderised polypopropylene. These materials have been developed for specific drainage applications for drainage of buried structures.
