This new collection is perfectly in line with Bisson Bruneel’s desire to develop natural materials by mixing them with other noble materials such as linen or wool. The main material, Japanese paper yarn, is made from abaca leaves once they have been harvested. This material is ecological and durable, and gives a fresh feeling. It has been used since the dawn of time in clothing for its resistance to the elements. By discovering all the references in this series created with Japanese paper yarn, we travel through Japanese paper workshops. The mix of paper, linen and recycled wool in the different references takes us on a journey to the old paper shops that only Japan knows the secret of. The different shades of white plunge us into a world of plenitude and minimalism.
