Overview
All BOSCH inclined hoods are engineered with a tilted canopy to preserve headroom and maintain a clear view of the cooking surface while ensuring effective extraction and hob illumination.

Quite powerful. Quite quiet.
Series 6 and Series 8 inclined hoods combine high ventilation capacity with low operating noise. In recirculation mode they rank among the quietest inclined hoods in Europe while still delivering high maximum airflow suitable for open-plan kitchens.

Performance

• Maximum ventilation performance: up to 1,006 m³/h (exhaust) and 943 m³/h (recirculation) for the most powerful configurations.
• Capable of renewing the air in a 100 m² apartment up to four times per hour under specified conditions.

Silence
Series 8 and Series 6 achieve low noise figures; examples include 51 dB (exhaust) / 59 dB (recirculation) for certain models. Series 4 models show higher levels (e.g. 56 dB / 62 dB in a typical column).

Design & Lighting

• Inclined design prevents head impact and preserves sightlines to the hob.
• LED illumination on the underside: dimmable and independently switchable from the fan. Colour temperature can be adjusted via the Home Connect app.

Controls & Connectivity

• DirectSelect / Touch control for simple touch operation of fan levels and worktop lighting.
• PerfectAir Sensor for automatic hood control independent of the cooktop.
• Cooktop-based Hood Control option: manual hood control via the hob when integrated with Home Connect.
• Home Connect compatibility for remote monitoring, settings and personalization (Favourite Button on supported models).

Ventilation settings

• Multiple regular extraction levels and one or more intensive levels depending on series/model (examples: 3 regular levels + 1–2 intensive levels).

Easy cleaning & maintenance

• Metal grease filters with large surface area and stainless steel mesh; dishwasher safe.
• Filter saturation notification available via Home Connect on selected products.

Grease & odour filters

• Extra-large filter area for efficient grease separation.
• Clean Air Plus recirculation set available for high odour and pollen reduction; typical replacement interval ~12–18 months.
• Longlife odour filter options for extended service intervals on certain models.
