The window sensor is a wireless component for the Busch-free@home® system. It detects whether the window handle is in the corresponding position and thus provides information as to whether your window is locked. The detector is simply mounted between the handle and window frame and thus reliably performs its service. Special advantage: your window handles do not have to be replaced, but can still be used. Detector your Busch-free@home® system With the wireless window detectors for your Busch-free@home® system, the current window handle position is monitored and transmitted. No additional wiring is necessary for this, as the window detector is operated via a battery. When the battery level is low, a corresponding notification is sent to your app. What distinguishes the window detectors? Intelligent monitoring The sensors of the window detectors do not determine whether the window is touching the frame. They check whether the handle is in the correct position and thus the window or patio door is locked. Linking functions The window detectors transmit the handle position to your Busch-free@home® system. They allow you to link various functions to the opening status of your windows. For example, if the window in the bathroom is open in winter, the heating is automatically regulated to save energy. More security To increase the security in your Smarter Home, a window detector can be very useful. It tells you if windows are open and can alert you to close the windows when you leave the house. This way you reduce unauthorised access to your home in your absence.
