As the well renomated branding firm, McCann World Group, wanted a vertical garden for their Stockholm office, Butong was chosen for its exclusive character. This system of panels in inox frames is maintained by Hässelby Blommor and is a good illustration of how a water system can work. Water is filled in a tank hidden in a copper box. There is a pump connected to a timer in the box and water is pumped up to the dripping hose in the top of the wall. Water is infiltrated in the panel and excess water is collected back to the tank. Nutrients are added to the tank when needed and the tank needs filling of water in monthly intervals.
