SILVANO PIERDONÀ, 2019 — If Atelier were a sportsperson, it would be a skier. Its extremely thin doors slide along coplanar openings without ever touching. Upon opening they reveal the cabinet’s internal spaciousness. This piece was designed for storing catering equipment or precious dinner services behind its most delicate textures. A solid element, which on the whole, is at the same time easy on the eye. A hymn to absolute modernity and aesthetic minimalism. Cabinets with coplanar doors. Frontals, external sides and upstand are 6 mm thick and overlap by 25 mm on superior of structure. The bottom is positioned 45 mm higher in order to allow the fixing of the mechanism for coplanar doors. The self-standing cabinets rest on a 173 mm high black base fitted with adjustable chromed feet.
