The 50HQP large capacity, indoor water-cooled heat pump units are designed for horizontal installation with a variety of airflow configurations. These units provide a practical and economical approach for comfort conditioning requirements in both traditional and geothermal replacement, renovation, and new construction applications. • Capacities from 6 to 20 tons • Belt driven centrifugal blowers • Scroll compressors mounted on vibration isolator grommets • Water loop (boiler/tower and ground loop/water) application use with operating temperature range of 20° to 110°F • Extended range package for open loop and geothermal applications • Fully insulated unit with acoustic type insulation • Mute package for applications requiring especially ow noise levels • Equipped with performance monitor to ensure efficient heat pump operation • Complete control system (standard) or deluxe microprocessor TXV (thermostatic expansion valve) controlled Copper or cupronickel heat exchanger Exceeds ASHRAE 90.1 performance requirements ARI/ISO 13256-1 certified Maintenance Features • Access to compressor section through 3 service panels • Large, removable front and side panels provide access for all service requirements • Blower housing can be serviced without disconnecting ductwork • Quick electrical disconnects on blower motor and control box components • Easy removal of control box • Refrigerant circuit equipped with high/low pressure ports • No tools required to change filters • Standard 1-in. filter Installation Features • Pre-wired and factory charged with Puron refrigerant (R-410A) • Ducted or free return connections • Water and condensate connections are FPT and secured to cabinet
