Material and properties
Alloy with a reduced carbon content, recognised for hygiene and excellent corrosion resistance; particularly suitable for outdoor and marine-exposed environments. Stainless steel does not oxidize or rust in contact with water and air. The natural protective film ensures long-term resistance and restorability. CEA products are manufactured using mechanical processes that preserve the alloy's properties. The stainless steel used is not chrome plated or galvanically treated, maintaining an ecological, recyclable and biocompatible product.

Special finishes are applied on request by depositing mixtures of zirconium powder and graphite through evaporation in vacuum (plasma). These treatments increase resistance to cleaning agents and salty air, provide anti-scratch performance and, in Black Diamond, reduce calcareous deposits due to a self-lubricating effect. All CEA special finishes are ecological and biocompatible. Colour and tone variations are inherent to the process and not manufacturing defects; oxidation effects (notably in BRONZE and COPPER) add depth to the surface.
