Material and description
Alloy with reduced carbon content, recognised for hygienic properties and corrosion resistance; suitable for outdoor and architectural applications. Stainless steel resists oxidation and rust in contact with water and air. Its natural protective film ensures long-term resistance and restorability. CEA products are produced by mechanical processes that preserve the alloy characteristics. The stainless steel used in CEADESIGN production is not chrome plated or electroplated, maintaining ecological, recyclable and hygienic properties.

Special finishes are applied on request and result from thick deposits of zirconium and graphite powders via vacuum plasma evaporation, producing a condensed thin film. These treatments increase resistance to cleaning agents and salty air and improve scratch resistance. The Black Diamond finish also resists limescale due to a self-lubricating feature that keeps the product clean longer. All CEADESIGN special finishes are ecological and biocompatible.

Color and nuance variations
Color and tone variations are inherent to the surface treatment process and should not be considered manufacturing defects. Bronze and Copper finishes in particular develop tonal nuances through material oxygenation when exposed to ambient air, creating natural depth.
