Material
Alloy with a reduced carbon content (stainless steel), universally recognised for hygienic properties and excellent corrosion resistance, particularly suitable for outdoor environments. Stainless steel forms a natural protective film that prevents oxidation and rust when exposed to water and air. CEADESIGN products are manufactured using mechanical processes that preserve the alloy's ecological, recyclable and hygienic characteristics. No chrome plating or galvanic coating is applied.

Special finishes are applied on demand by depositing mixtures of zirconium powder and graphite in vacuum (plasma) chambers. The resulting thin film increases surface hardness and scratch resistance and improves resistance to cleaning agents and salty air. The Black Diamond finish additionally reduces calcareous deposits thanks to a self-lubricating effect. All special finishes are ecological and biocompatible. Color and nuance variations are inherent to the process and are not manufacturing defects.

The steel/wood combination is part of the product range design. Solid matured wood comes from certified forests. Wood is chosen for hardness and dimensional stability in humidity and temperature changes, and resistance to acidic and saline agents, making variants suitable for outdoor use.
